These knitting instructions contain all the information needed to
knit and felt a woolen flat tellerbarett with a two-pieced overlapping
brim. Some experience in knitting is advisable, although beginners
should be able to produce a decent-looking barett by the help of a
beginners book in hand knitting or online resources.

Approximate size: US 7 ¼ - 7 ½, UK 7, Europe 59 cm
The size is adjustable to a certain extent before felting ( see
further instructions). This pattern is developed to mimic the
knitting in extant knitted 16th century baretts, today kept in
museums throughout Germany and the United Kingdom. 5 pages, incl
images.
